Sri Lankan Elephant is given a place as normal as humans in society from the past. They have been taken to help during the festive day and are the most important significant creature of “Perahera” which happens in every temple in every year. Especially in Kandy Perahera.

This tour delivers the opportunity to observe the lifestyle of the wild elephants as well as the ones who are tamed. In comparison to the African and Indian Elephant Sri Lankan elephant is considered as the one which generates from the high cast – so make this an opportunity to observe them from every angle you could!

Day 01: Airport – Negombo Fishing Village – Negombo Lagoon – Evening Leisure by Beach

Day 02: Negombo – Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage –Gritale

Day 03: Full-day safari at Minneriya National Park OR Kaudulla National Park (depends on the weather and the period of the visit)

Day 04: Giritale – Kandy Temple and Museum which describes the Elephant contributions towards the festive seasons.

Day 05: Kandy – Udawalwe

Day 06: Visit for a Full-Day Safari at Udawalawe National Park.

Day 07: Relax a bit at the hotel and evening visit the hospital where wounded baby elephant elephants and other elephants are taken care of under the supervision of the government.

Day 08: Udawalawe – Colombo

Day 09: Colombo city and shopping for souvenirs and depart for your connecting flight.
